The Facts of Author Life

According to a famous television theme song, "You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, and there you have..." This was no truer a case than what happened to me last night.

For those who have been following, last night, myself and three other Florida authors unveiled the cover for our upcoming charity romance anthology: "Love on the Edge of Danger." This collective effort contains four novellas where Florida-based couples find love with one another during the existing COVID-19 pandemic. The book is slated for release on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. (Yes, I do realize that's Canada Day for my friends back in my former home.) However, the pre-order for the book is now available.

For those interested in reserving your copy, you can do so at any of the following links: Amazon (US): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089CZBYZD Amazon (CA): https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B089CZBYZD Amazon (UK): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089CZBYZD Apple/Kobo: https://books2read.com/u/3RNqZx

The pre-order will also go live on Barnes & Noble for Nook apps and readers, as soon as the files are approved for the service.

Unfortunately, with the good news, there was some bad news that befell myself after the reveal party last night. Due to the aforementioned pandemic, another one of my signing appearances slated for this year, the Tampa Indie Author Book Convention, scheduled for Saturday, July 11th, has been postponed due to safety concerns. A new date for the event is yet to be announced, but for the time being, the only signing appearance I'm scheduled for is the Ignite Your Soul Author Event on Saturday, September 26th in London, Ontario, Canada. It's disheartening news for me, but it is an unfortunate way of life in this crazy year of 2020.

That's all from me at this time. Until my next post, happy reading, and always remember to stay safe.
