STANZA SUNDAY: It's A Woman's Romance World

One thing I observed

Among all of the romance author events I see listed

Is that all of the people appearing

Are of the female gender.

I will admit that I’m new

To writing the genre

But, given the numbers

I’m a small fish in an ocean of sharks.

I have heard reports

Males do write romance

However, they do so under cloak and dagger

Wanting to remain faceless names.

I, on the other hand

Decide to go against the grain

Throwing caution to the wind

In hopes I can become known

Alas, when you write two other genres

Things can get complicated

And, makes me wonder

If I should stick to them instead.
